It’s often difficult to go back to how things were and forget an infidelity, or even lies from your partner. You might be able to forgive him/her at the beginning, but the treason will nontheless remain in your mind and in your heart. Sometimes love will prevail, sometimes one or both partners will no longer be able to go on. Some wounds are too deep to be treated, and a breakup will be the best solution.
